April 26th (Sat) Once a month, a night museum for adults.

Night Museum is limited to high school students and above.
In addition to access to our permanent exhibitions, we have prepared a variety of different content each month.
There is also a museum shop and permanent exhibitions to enjoy. Why not come and enjoy a science museum that is exciting for adults?

◆PlanetariumWhile gazing at the moon... ~Refresh your mind and body~'

Location: Planetarium Dome (3F)

*If you are viewing the planetarium, a numbered ticket will be distributed when you purchase your ticket.

*Due to the nature of the performance, the venue will be darkened immediately after the show begins. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare.

 

 

◆Science show "Polarized light'

Light has a property called polarization. In fact, this property of polarization is used in something that's all around us.

Let's try to uncover that secret through an experiment.

Time: ① 17:30-17:50 ② 18:30-18:50 (approximately 20 minutes)

◆Denken Lab "Coffee'

October 1st is Coffee Day.

Tonight, let's refrain from drinking coffee and observe things from a microscopic perspective.

◆Workshop"The World of Light and Color"

How are televisions and printers able to produce such a wide range of colors?
(Participation fee: Free)

Time: 17:01 - 20:00 (Registration closes at 19:40)

Location: Mirai-ra Room (2F)

 

◆Museum ShopExperiments and sales of phosphorescent minerals that glow in the dark.'

We will conduct an experience of fluorite and other materials emitting light using long-wave light, and will also sell related products.

Hours 17: 01-20: 00

Location: Museum Shop (1F)

 

 

During the opening hours of the "Night Science Museum," you can also view the permanent exhibition.

Date: Held on the fourth Saturday of every month

Hours: 17:01 - 20:00 (Last entry 19:30)

Admission fee for permanent exhibition: Adults 600 yen, Junior high school students 300 yen

[Permanent exhibition admission fee + one planetarium viewing fee] Adults 1 yen, Junior high school students (high school students) 1,100 yen

Eligible: High school students and above. *Junior high school students and younger are not permitted to enter.

*Tickets will go on sale from 17:01 on the day of the event. (The start time may be earlier depending on the situation.)
*You can join the ticket issuing line from 16:30 on the day of the event.
