A tour departing from Nagoya Station will allow you to try the traditional "takiya fishing" method of Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture and enjoy a meal of freshly caught fishermen's cuisine. 🐟

Takiya fishing is a method of fishing where a light is placed at the bow of a boat, and the light is used to catch crabs, fish, and other creatures in the water with a spear.
This tour includes a fisherman's meal where the captain cooks the catch you all make on the day, and everyone shares it together.

  [Notice ※Important Notes]
  *Dinner will be served around 21 PM.
  *If the Takiya fishing is cancelled, the tour will be cancelled.
  *Please note that even on sunny days, the Takiya fishing operation may be suddenly canceled due to wind, rain, or other reasons.
  *There is no last train service. Please be careful about how you get home as you will be returning late at night.
  
  <Precautions regarding takiyari fishing>
  ① About boarding and the experience
  　*You will be standing at the bow of the boat and experiencing the activity while it is rocking. For safety reasons, we ask that those with mobility issues refrain from participating.
  　*All participants will be required to fill out a "Boarding Agreement" in advance.
  　*Please note that boarding with slippery footwear such as flip-flops or Crocs is prohibited. Please be sure to wear non-slip shoes (sneakers, etc.) and clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
  　*Boat rides are shared by groups of four. Spearfishing experiences will be conducted in shifts.
  
  ② About meals
  　*As a general rule, meals will consist only of the catches made by participants on the day. The catches you make will not be distributed solely to you, but will be shared among all participants and served on large platters.
  　*When eating, please use the provided chopsticks and other utensils to transfer the food to your own plate and eat it yourself. Thank you for your understanding.
  　*The contents of the fisherman's meal will change depending on the day's catch, and the cooking method will be left to the captain.
  
  ③ Regarding bringing in food and drinks
  　*Please note that meals (other than locally sourced ingredients) and drinks will not be provided on-site. Please bring your own food and drinks as needed.
