    For the safety of all participants, this plan is not available to anyone who falls under any of the following categories. Additionally, depending on your health condition and age, you may be required to submit a medical certificate.
    Individuals with high blood pressure, heart, spine, or neck conditions, epilepsy, hyperventilation, those who have consumed alcohol, those with conditions that may worsen with participation, pregnant women or those who may be pregnant, and those whom the organizers deem unsafe on the day of participation are not permitted to participate.

    A little rain won't be a problem for the event, but please be aware that if a severe weather forecast is issued the day before and we determine that it is not safe to hold the school, we may contact you to postpone or cancel the school. Also, please be aware that even after everyone has gathered on the day, we may interrupt or cancel the school if we determine that the conditions are not safe to hold.

 

This is a half-day windsurfing experience suitable for beginners, held at Murakushi Beach on Lake Hamana.

After learning how to handle the equipment and the basic posture, you will practice on the shallow waters of the lake where you can stand.

Through approximately two and a half hours of lessons, the goal is to ride the wind and glide straight across the lake.

Since you can practice while receiving instruction from an instructor, it is recommended for those who are new to marine sports or those who are not very confident in their physical fitness.

Flow of the day

1. Registration and changing clothes

After checking in, you'll change into a wetsuit and prepare for the experience. We'll also check your physical condition, the wind conditions, and the lake conditions for the day.

2. Explanation of tools and safety

You will receive instructions on the equipment used for windsurfing, how to wear a life jacket, and safety precautions on the water.

3. Practice basic movements on land.

We'll practice the basic movements on land, such as how to get on the board, how to stand, and how to hold the sail. We'll provide easy-to-understand instruction, even for beginners.

4. Try windsurfing on the lake

We start in a shallow area where you can stand. With the support of an instructor, you get a feel for how the wind propels you forward on the sail.

5. Use the wind to go straight ahead.

Through repeated practice, I will challenge myself to glide straight across the lake surface, riding the wind.

6. Change clothes / End

After the experience is over, you will return to the facility, change your clothes, and then be dismissed.

・Swimsuit (tankini, leggings, tights, etc.) *Outside of summer, swimwear that can be worn under a wetsuit or innerwear is also acceptable.

Marine boots or marine shoes (sports shoes that can get wet are also acceptable)
*Sandals are not allowed, and sandals with heel straps are also not allowed as they tend to slip off.
• Drinks (sports drinks, etc.)
Outdoor precautions (sunscreen, hat, etc.)
- If you wear glasses, please use a fall prevention strap, etc.

*During periods when both the air and water temperatures are high, you can enjoy the park wearing swimwear (tankinis, leggings, or tights) or a rash guard or similar garment over it.
If you feel cold in that attire, please rest assured that we will lend you a wetsuit free of charge.
Please bring a windbreaker or similar garment if it's cold. Hot showers and changing rooms are available on-site.
